Hurricane Dorian Update 8
September 3, 2019 (3:00 PM)

West Palm Beach appears to have escaped the worst part of Hurricane Dorian. We are expecting tropical storm winds and rain for the remainder of the afternoon.

Schools are closed tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4.  City Hall will also be closed on Wednesday, September 4 in an effort to focus on cleanup.

The City will be conducting damage assessments late this afternoon after the winds die down so we can begin the cleanup process.

City garages are still free and open through the end of the day tomorrow, Wednesday.

City of West Palm Beach sanitation services will resume Wednesday. Be sure to take your garbage to the curb on your REGULAR SCHEDULED PICKUP DAY. The Sanitation Division will follow the regular schedule.

Many have asked how they can help with relief efforts in the Bahamas. As I get information and opportunities to assist, I will pass those along.

Please contact me about any questions or issues you are experiencing in your neighborhood after the storm has passed.

Included below are some additional numbers and contact details that you may find helpful.
