The city is hosting a neighborhood and community meeting to discuss South Olive traffic calming measures. The roadwork for the traffic calming measures is scheduled to begin next year. However, in advance of any work, the city is hosting a meeting with the neighborhoods and residents to discuss these plans, hear your input and make the final decisions. The traffic calming measures are for South Olive Avenue between Okeechobee Blvd. and Southern Blvd.
City staff will survey all affected property owners, present the types of road devices available for use and have residents choose their preferences regarding the project design. All revisions of the project design will attempt to incorporate public input whenever possible.
